Tabletops - 8 to 10 cm thick
The tabletops rest on a substructure of two massive mahogany stands, connected with a wooden bar that has a clearly-marked tenon joint with the two stands hard links. The tabletop resting on it can also be screwed to the stands with the supplied metal brackets, which we recommend.
Cut out directly from the trunk they have kept their natural shape. This means a variance in the width of the table, which we specify as span. One of the tables has a straight / rectangular shape.
The tabletops are hand-ground and varnished, moisture-repellent and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Grown irregularities, cracks (balanced with a woodspan-epoxy resin mixture) and minor bumps belong to the charm of these handmade unique pieces.
At the bottom of some of the tabletops these are handcrafted carefully with swallow tails from cracking backed up, nevertheless this is not to be completely excluded - solid wood can still work.
The mahogany tables are suitable for the indoor area, an outdoor use presupposes to treat the table every
4 months with a resin - we strongly recommend the indoor use!
